Go to More > Notifications and enable Prayer Time Alerts. You can customize which prayers you want to be notified about, set pre-prayer reminders, and choose notification sounds. You can also enable Jumu'ah (Friday prayer) reminders.

How does the Qibla compass work?

The Qibla compass uses your device's GPS and magnetometer to calculate the direction to the Kaaba in Makkah. For best accuracy, hold your phone flat and away from metal objects. The app will provide haptic feedback when you're correctly aligned with the Qibla direction.

Yes! Once prayer times are loaded for your location, they're cached and available offline. The Qibla compass also works offline using your device's sensors. Features requiring internet include searching for restaurants, mosques, and live stock prices.

Zakat is calculated at 2.5% of your zakatable assets after deducting liabilities. Our calculator guides you through entering your cash, gold, silver, investments, business assets, and debts. We use current gold and silver prices to determine the Nisab threshold.

Nisab is the minimum amount of wealth you must possess for Zakat to be obligatory. It's calculated based on the value of 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver. Most scholars recommend using the silver Nisab as it's lower and benefits more recipients.

Our Halal Stocks section shows Shariah-compliant stocks that have been screened for: business activity (no haram industries), financial ratios (debt, interest income, cash holdings), and purification requirements. Each stock shows its compliance status and any purification percentage needed.

Yes, your financial information is encrypted and stored securely. We do not share your personal financial data with third parties. You can delete your Zakat calculation history at any time from the app settings.

We display the halal certification body for each restaurant (e.g., HMC, HFA). You can filter by certification type in the app. However, we always recommend verifying the current halal status directly with the restaurant, as certifications can change.

We verify restaurants through their official halal certifications, direct contact with establishments, and community feedback. Restaurants with verified certifications are marked with a badge in the app.

We list various types of Islamic educational institutions including: full-time Islamic schools (private and state-funded), madrasahs (after-school Quran and Islamic studies), weekend schools, and online courses. You can filter by type, location, and age group.

Enable location services and go to the Education tab. Schools are automatically sorted by distance from your location. You can also search by postcode or area name.
